Daniella is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at IU-Bloomington. She received her PhD from the Department of Nutrition Sciences at the University of Alabama, Birmingham in 2018. Daniella’s dissertation focused on estimating the body composition of African and Asian elephants, and how it related to metabolic and reproductive health. Her current research interests include examining anthropogenic and ecological impacts on forest elephant endocrinology and reproductive success.
